Hay [Chloris Gayana]

This is a grass species commonly known as Rhodes grass mainly grown for livestock that can barely graze during drought seasons .

The grass first produces seeds that we dry and sell to interested clients, then when fully grown its trimmed and wet dried, tied in bales ready for sale and some want it raw, hay can also help in mulching .

Chloris can also be inter-cropped with plants that do not require very water logged places because it has the ability of absorbing the unwanted water.
